Walker County Commissioners considered approving a bullet-resistant window for the Walker County Treasurer’s Collection Window at Monday morning’s court session.
County Purchasing agent Mike Williford passed passed along various prices including a bullet-resistant window for $1,434 dollars.
Treasurer Sharon Duke said her employees expressed personal safety concerns about some of the people they had to deal with at the collections window . . . .
Commissioners approved purchase of the bullet-resistant window. Funds will come from the Treasurer’s budget.
