Chief Grisham Adds Caution on Holiday Fireworks Use

Published on December 13, 2012 by Larry Crippen

This week, the decision was made to continue to let the sale and use of fireworks, including skyrockets with sticks and missles with fins, continue in Walker County–outside the city limits only.

Huntsville Fire Chief Tom Grisham, however, adds a caution to this . . . .

Chief Grisham added in regard to fireworks use, to keep away from tall grasses, buildings, barns, hay, anything that can readily catch on fire. He also advises checking the area once the fireworks have been set- off.

Chief Grisham will be our guest on this Sunday’s “Around Town.”
