The City of Huntsville recognized 78 employees Wednesday for reaching a range of milestones in their municipal careers.

The recognitions, which took place during the City’s annual Employee Service Luncheon, were for those employees who reached five-year increments with the organization. Of the employees recognized, 33 had reached five years with the City, 22 employees had served for 10 years, four employees had served for 15, six had served for 20, four had served for 25 years, and eight had served for 30 years.

Finally, one employee – Fire Chief Tom Grisham – was recognized for 35 years of service to the citizens of Huntsville.

Mayor Mac Woodward, who personally recognized each of the employee milestones, said he was grateful to the entire City staff for their continued dedication to their jobs and Huntsville as a whole.
