Commissioners Approve Repairing Environmental Control System at Courthouse

Published on June 13, 2012 by Larry Crippen

At Monday’s session of Walker County Commissioners’ Court, Commissioners looked into the issue of the environmental control system at the courthouse.

McCaffety Electric’s Rob McCaffety and Hunton Trane Systems’ Mike Bee were there to answer questions.

At present, the system is overridden in the “on” position and cannot be controlled properly. Mike Bee explained a solution . . . .

Commissioners approved the upgrade to the building. The vendor will be McCaffety Electric. The cost is $44,018 dollars with funds coming from contingency. It is being done through the Buy-board contract.
