Plans for the new Walker County Jail are moving forward. Steps are underway for proposals from a “C-MAR,” a Construction Manager at Risk for the project. An agenda item authorizing Burns Architecture to proceed with the next step, the bidding construction documents and bidding phase in accordance with the contract, was considered.
Purchasing Agent Linda McKenzie filled Commissioners in at Monday morning’s session of Commissioners . . . .
