ACM Lifting Lives has announced Aaron Lewis and and his charity organization, It Takes A Community, as its November ‘My Cause’ web feature. The monthly series brings awareness to artist-supported charitable organizations. It also supports fundraising efforts for those organizations. To watch the web feature, visit www.ACMLiftingLives.org.

This month’s “My Cause: It Takes A Community” shines a spotlight on the organization created by Aaron and his wife to revive rural communities throughout the greater New England area. The charity works with local leaders and organizations to raise funds to strengthen, engage and enrich communities in crisis. Donations can be made to the charity using a donate link available with the video. Watch the November My Cause here.

At this year’s ACM Awards, ACM Lifting Lives encouraged artists to speak on camera about the causes they support. My Causes allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country artists. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $45,000 to artists’ favorite charities and will again make donations.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through music. Each year, the organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. It also supports members of the country music community facing unexpected medical or financial hardship.
