Tonight on GAC, Trace Adkins will step out of the spotlight in order to shine it on three very deserving heroes in Salina, Kansas. Great American Heroes follows Trace on his nationwide Songs Stories Tour as he takes time away from the stage to honor everyday people doing extraordinary things in their local communities. Great American Heroes premieres tonight, August 22, at 8 p.m. ET.
The heroes Trace will meet both tonight in Salina and across the country are seemingly average community members and yet they are working to change lives, asking for no recognition in return. But that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it. Trace is seeking these ‘ordinary’ people out to not only recognize their efforts but surprise them with something special.
