2012 will go down as a year to remember for Greg Bates. He not only landed his first Top 10 hit with his debut single, “Did It For The Girl,” he also made his Grand Ole Opry debut. Getting the invitation to perform on the historic stage and sharing the news with his family a moment he won’t soon forget.
“My mom’s exact words were ‘What the heck are you talking about?’” Greg said. “They were very supportive of me with music growing up. They always have been and I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for them. So they were the first people that I called to let them know.”
