The monthly series brings awareness to artist-supported charitable organizations. It also supports fundraising efforts for those organizations. To watch the web feature, visit

This month’s My Cause highlights the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign, which is part of ConAgra Foods’ ongoing effort to end child hunger in the United States. More than 16 million children in the U.S. don’t know where their next meal will come from.

To bring awareness to the issue, Hunter co-wrote “Here’s Hope,” a song Little Big Town performed during the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.  The group has since recorded the song in support of the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign. Donations can be made by using the donate link available with the video. You can watch the September My Cause here.

At this year’s ACM Awards, ACM Lifting Lives encouraged artists to speak on camera about the causes they support. My Causes allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country artists. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $45,000 to artists’ favorite charities and will again make donations.

ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through music. Each year, the organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. It also supports members of the country music community facing unexpected medical or financial hardship.
