Kellie Pickler is continuing her mission to raise breast cancer awareness by partnering with Tru Protection to promote a limited edition iPhone case. Priced at $29.95, $20 of each sale will go to the American Cancer Society and their “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign.” The cases can be ordered HERE and will be available through the end of 2012.
“Everybody has a loved one that’s been affected by cancer, and I am happy to do what I can to help raise awareness and funds to fight this disease,” Kellie said. “When Tru Protection approached me with the opportunity to design a special cell phone case that would benefit a cause I whole-heartedly support, how could I not? Plus, I love that Tru’s product is American made using recycled materials.”
“Tru Protection is proud to partner with Kellie Pickler and offer this iPhone custom case for sale in order to donate money to the American Cancer Society,” Keiko Napier, CEO of Tru Protection said. “I am in awe of Kellie’s bold and courageous act of solidarity and support for her friend Summer, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I lost my father to cancer, and we currently have a member of our staff, Lindsey Adams, battling lymphoma. Unfortunately, I think everyone’s lives have been affected by cancer. We are thrilled to partner with Kellie and do our part to create awareness and help put an end to this terrible disease.”
The special case was designed by Nashville-based artist Jason Parish with input from Kellie and Tru Protection. The cases are eco-friendly and made of 100% post-consumer recycled products.
Kellie will further support breast cancer awareness on October 30 when she’ll flip the switch to turn the historic barn backdrop of the Grand Ole Opry pink for a special Women Rock for the Cure show. Kellie will also perform.
