To celebrate both his new album and the first day of summer, Kenny put on a free, 75-minute concert for more than 20,000 fans yesterday on the scenic beach of Wildwood, New Jersey. The concert was directed for a live stream by Jonathan Demme as part of the American Express ‘Unstaged’ series. It was one of the biggest outdoor concerts ever in the resort town.

Today, Kenny and his band will visit the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform his current single, “Come Over.” He will also join The Roots for a performance of his song “Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven” which he recorded with The Wailers for his 2008 Lucky Old Sun album. Friday, Kenny will head to NBC’s Rockefeller Plaza for a live performance on Today’s Toyota Summer Concert Series.

The Brothers of The Sun Tour will kick back up on Saturday with a show in Nashville at LP Field. The tour will then travel to Charlotte on Sunday for a date at Bank of America Stadium.
