Montgomery Gentry has teamed up with Buffets, Inc. to sell their latest album, Rebels On the Run, at all Buffets locations including Ryan’s, Country Buffet, HomeTown Buffet, Old Country Buffet, Fire Mountain and Granny’s Buffet SM beginning July 5. The album will be available for a special price of $8.99 and profits from sales will go to Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) for Operation Outdoors, a camp program offering assistance to children of military personnel during deployment.
“Our brands are all about providing places for families to connect over a great meal,” Jason Abelkop, Chief Marketing Officer of Buffets, Inc., said. “That’s why we are so proud to align with the ASYMCA to help further its mission of helping military families reconnect after a period of service to our country. Through our donation and involvement, we hope to improve the experience of the military families in our communities.”
“We have a history of appreciation for and support of the military, and are proud to be a part of an initiative that allows our music to help such a great cause,” Troy Gentry added.
The ASYMCA Operation Outdoors camp program provides a unique atmosphere for military kids to meet and make new friends going through the same experiences of having a loved one deployed. Children can take advantage of outdoor activities to help build their leadership and teamwork skills and boost their self-esteem.
The ASYMCA also sponsors camps that reunite families with loved ones returning from war. Service members are able to take mini-getaways to spend quality time with their entire family, catching up and reconnecting. ASYMCA launched the camp program in the summer of 2007 for children of junior enlisted military personnel and their families.
