Bruce Springsteen’s road manager
went to an Eric Church concert a couple of weeks ago and took along a message
from his boss — the Boss. It was the very long set list from a recent Springsteen show, but more importantly, it had a long
note handwritten by Springsteen on the back. Church
told Billboard that the road manager, Wayne LeBeaux, came onto his bus and told him how things had unfolded. “As
they were leaving the Fenway show, [Springsteen] said, ‘Wayne, what are you doing this weekend?’ ‘I’m going to see Eric Church.’
“No kidding,’ and (Springsteen) took out a set list and wrote me a great note, filled up the whole back of the set list talking
about how he was
