Kellie Pickler’s best friend has
breast cancer. And she starts chemotherapy Thursday (Sept. 6). There’s no Hallmark card for that. No casserole you can make.
And maybe no prayer powerful enough to make it all go away. But Pickler proved you can show your commitment by shaving your
head. So Tuesday, Pickler and her pal Summer Holt Miller (who was diagnosed in June and recently had a double mastectomy),
buzzed off their hair. “I’m going ahead
and shaving my head the Tuesday before [chemotherapy] because I was told that it was mentally much easier to do it this way
than to wake up with hair on my pillow,” Miller wrote on
