It seems like Tim McGraw has always been
good to the military. And now I think I understand why. He grew up in a family filled with soldiers, according to People
magazine, and so they all talked about the military service “with reverence.” In fact, he says he considered enlisting himself
before he started pursuing music seriously. That was right around the same time that McGraw’s sister, Tracey, joined the Army.
“We’ve talked about how lonely she got, and that’s something that’s stuck with me when I’ve met military families — how important
the contact they have from home is,” McGraw said. Tracey Jewell is a veteran of Desert Storm, and McGraw’s uncle John Dagostino
