The Band Perry, Chris Young, Charlie Daniels , Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert will all perform on this week’s episode of Noteworthy at the Opry. Premiering Saturday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. CT, the episode will feature a Top 10 theme.

Stars like Trace Adkins, Vince Gill, Kix Brooks and more will weigh in on what makes a song a hit and why they are important for career longevity. When asked about trends that help inspire hit songs, Trace gave some background behind his smash “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”

“I had no idea what that (badonkadonk) was but it was a Hip Hop term,” he said. “We’ve taken things from other genres over the years and other genres have taken stuff from us.”
