Willie Nelson and Jamey
Johnson will be joined by rockers Band of Horses and actor-musician John C. Reilly for the second running of the Railroad
Revival tour this fall.
Taking place Oct. 20-Oct. 28, the unique tour travels across the U.S. on 16 vintage rail cars
and combines the country’s rich train history with organic American music, according to the tour promoter. The artists will
live and collaborate together on the train and perform eight concerts in large outdoor venues near the tracks.
Reilly,
who portrayed a country singer in the 2007 comedy, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, has released singles on Jack White’s
Third Man Records label.
Last year’s inaugural event featured Mumford
Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show and Edward Sharpe
the Magnetic Zeros and culminated in a film about the tour, Big Easy Express.
