The Good Shepherd Mission is asking the community to help them out. Their food bank is low on all food items. When school lets out the demand for food to take home increases.
Here’s what they need the most–dry pinto beans, dry rice, canned chicken or tuna, one-pound size of peanut butter, mac & cheese, canned fruit, veggies, and beans, and soup–canned or Ramen.
Items can be dropped off at the Mission, 1005 MLK, any day of the week from 7AM to 9 at night. Their phone number is 936-291-8156.
