“Harnessing Huntsville” & Neighborhood Stabilization Houses Info

Don’t forget the special community discussion on Harnessing Huntsville’s Potential is tonight from 6 to 8 at the Huntsville Public Library. Your invited to join the community conversation on prioritizing and implementing housing, education, and employment goals for the city.

Also, Huntsville’s Community Development Specialist, Dr. Sherry McKibben, tells us that the City “received funding through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program to purchase either foreclosed homes or to build new homes. The City purchased two foreclosed homes, and we’ve rehabilitated them. And, we’ve built ten brand new three-bedroom, two-bath, approximately 1,400 square foot brick homes at various locations around town . . . .”
