The fall semester will be ending this month at HISD. We asked HISD Superintendent, Dr. Steve Johnson, about some of the things accomplished in the district this past semester . . . .

Dr. Johnson said, “In terms of internally what’s been accomplished, we’ve been very proud of our athletic programs and what they’ve done.” He said, “We moved to a new UIL district,” and he’s proud of the athlete’s performances. He said he’s also “very pleased with some of the work that our teacher’s are doing in our classrooms through our technology initiative.”
Dr. Johnson will be our guest on “Around Town” this Sunday.
