In Huntsville Police news, on the night shift last Friday police were called to the 2300 block of Gainous Street where an unknown suspect had set fire to a mobile home.

On Saturday’s day shift, in the 1200 block of 21st Street, a robbery was investigated–unknown suspects took property possibly using a weapon.

On the night shift Saturday, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 100 block of FM 247. At 10th Street and Avenue I, a 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Sunday’s day shift, an obviously ill wildlife animal had to be euthanized in the 900 block of Oak.

On the night shift Sunday, police were called to the 400 block of River Oaks where a known suspect had assaulted someone. A vehicle burglary was also reported in the 1500 block of 11th Street.
