TDCJ’s Jason Clark Comments on Inmate Transfers & Officer Shortages

TDCJ has started transferring inmates from a couple of units, Lamesa and Colorado City in the Panhandle, to other prisons in the state because of a shortage of correctional officers–especially in the remoter parts of Texas.

We asked TDCJ Public Information Officer Jason Clark to update us on what was going on . . . .
