Two-Vehicle Accident

Published on July 11, 2012 by Larry Crippen

According to HPD, a two-vehicle accident at FM-2821 and FM 247 Tuesday morning sent a 38-year-old Huntsville woman to Huntsville Memorial with minor injuries caused by her seat belt and airbag deployment.

In the accident, an 83-year-old man driving a Mercury Grand Marquis was turning left from FM 2821 onto FM 247 when his vehicle collided with the woman’s Hyundai.

According to a report from HPD officer Zach Duer, “Neither party could verify if they had an appropriate signal, and they both reached the intersection at the same time.”

No tickets were issued.
