The number of people injured in the bombing near the Boston Marathon’s finish-line is now up to at least 176, with three fatalities–an 8-year-old boy among them.
Authorities also now say only two-bombs went off. No unexploded devices were found.
Cellphone photos taken in the area of the blasts have also been requested.
Officials say at this point no one is in custody for the bombings.
According to Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis at a news conference today, an intensive investigation is underway . . . .
The Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office, Richard DesLauriers, said, “This will be a worldwide investigation.”
