Published on August 08, 2013 by Larry Crippen

At Tuesday’s City Council session, Director of Community and Economic Development Aron Kulhavy explained the many benefits of the retail analysis features of the Buxton software access recently contracted with Buxton by the City.

Kulhavy said, “There were three locations identified and given to Buxton to do a retail site analysis on.” He said, “That retail site analysis is available on the City of Huntsville’s website under the Planning Department’s page.” He identified the sites as State Highway 19 and FM 2821, #19 and I-45 South, and I-45 frontage road and Ravenwood Village Drive . . . .

Also, available is a myriad of demographic information which can be used by retailers and others for product marketing and targetting. Kulhavy said several business representatives have come to the City to utilize the site.
