The Huntsville City Council will meet for a work session and regular session tonight. The work session is at five and will be their annual meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission to review the proposed Development Code update and other P&Z issues on the horizon.

Their regular session begins at six.

Tonight’s “Consent Agenda” includes approval of an ordinance authorizing participation with other Entergy service cities in matters concerning Entergy at the public utility Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Tonight’s “Statutory Agenda” includes possible approval of an ordinance for a budget amendment regarding mural repairs at 1104 11th Street. Also, on the agenda is possible action on the approval of a Standardized General Services Agreement between the City and various consultants for engineering and related professional services.

Tonight, the City Council will also hear an annual update on the Communications and Service Committee and City Manager Matt Benoit’s report, and possibly take action on the installation of a street light at FM 2821 and Smith Hill Road.
