The City of Huntsville has received a new grant for firefighters.
City Manager Matt Benoit passed along the details to councilmembers . . . .
The plan is to hire and pay the salaries and benefits of four full-time firefighters. Benoit said since the grant is for two years, the challenge will be to keep them on. They hope to have people hired by March 1st.
