Commissioners Approve Warrant Fee Increase Resolution

Monday, Walker County Commissioners approved a resolution supporting Texas House Bill #211 that would raise warrant fees.

Representative Allen Fletcher authored the bill which would raise warrant fees from $50 dollars to $75 dollars, if passed.

Walker County Clerk Kari French said it costs the county more to execute warrants than the $50 dollar fee . . . .
