Walker County Commissioners will meet for a regular session this morning at nine at the courthouse.
This morning’s “Consent Agenda” includes the issuance of an interest-bearing Certificate of Obligation for $106,758 dollars for the purchase of a Mustang Caterpillar Excavator.
Commisioners will discuss the approval of funds to replace the computer and accessories that were stolen on April 6th.
County Auditor Patricia Allen will discuss for approval the Walker County Appraisal District retaining monies due back to the County at the end of the fiscal year, the approval of payment to Jail architect Burns Architecture, and payment to SEDALCO the jail construction company.
Planning and Development Director Andy Isbell will discuss approval of budgeting funds for an accountability system for fire departments within Walker County.
And Administrative Assistant Sherri Pegoda will talk about the purchase of a microphone, speakers, and mixer package to replace the broken one at the courthouse.
