Walker County Commissioners will meet for a regular session at nine this morning at the courthouse.
Commissioners will hear an update on the construction of the Walker County Jail. The court will also receive departmental reports.
County Elections Director Diana McRae will discuss the Precinct #304 poll place evaluation.
Maintenance Director Ken Nabors will deliver an update on the second phase of the Air Conditioning upgrade at the courthouse.
County Treasurer Sharon Duke will discuss approval of the method of payment for $2,500 for a Request for Proposal for a joint clinic with the City of Huntsville.
Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis will talk about approval for paying for the Community Emergency Response Team Director’s salary, as a contract employee, through September 2013, with budgeted funds.
County Purchasing Agent Mike Williford will discuss approving a Telecommunications Study Agreement with Telanalysis to audit and analyze all Walker County local, long distance, wireless and radio circuit billings. It’s to be funded from audit savings and budgeted funds.
Planning and Development Director Andy Isbell will talk about approval of modification to on-site sewage facility sprayfields.
Precinct #2 Commissioner Ronnie White will discuss several possible right-of-way approvals.
Commissioners will also talk about the possible approval of a change in specifications for the Courthouse Beautification Project.
