Walker County Commissioners will meet in regular session at the courthouse this morning at nine.
On the “Statutory Agenda,” IT Director Cheryl Morris will discuss for possible approval a DPS Citation Importer Consulting Package with Tyler Technologies in the amount of $3,480. County Auditor Patricia Allen will talk about approving a payment of claim from Road and Bridge Precinct #1 for $75,274 for trees removed in-house to be paid from project monies budgeted for this purpose and subject to a final completion of audit. Ms. Allen will also discuss the possible approval of payment to Professional Ambulance Sales and Service for $131,612 from budgeted funds upon receipt of the ambulance and the completion of an audit.
Among several items, Purchasing Agent Mike Williford will discuss the authorization of the County Judge to sign an audit Engagement Letter with the Hereford, Lynch, Sellars & Kirkham CPA firm in accordance with year three of a five-year contract to perform audit services for a total cost of $27,200 to be paid from budgeted funds.
Commissioners may also hold a Budget Workshop.
