Commissioners Proclaim March 22nd “Larry McDugle Day”

In Commissioners’ Court Monday–Commissioners, members of the Sheriff’s Office, and others–honored the late Walker County Sheriff’s Captain Larry McDugle with a special proclamation making March 22nd, 2013, “Larry McDugle Day” in Walker County.

Reading from the proclamation Judge Danny Pierce said, “In 1997 Larry was scouted for employment by administrators of the Walker County Sheriff’s Office and served as Administrative-Operations Lieutenant implementing policies and procedures . . . .”


Captain McDugle passed away on January 2, 2012.
