Monday morning Walker County Commissioners considered approval of the purchase of a 2013 Horton ambulance for EMS for $131,600 dollars.
Purchasing Agent Mike Williford said that if they got it approved Monday, “there’s a discount of $7,131 dollars that can be extended.” He said they were buying through a Buy Board state-approved contract. He also said that, after checking, it was a good price and is an addition to the fleet . . . .
Commissioners approved the purchase of the ambulance.
