Walker County Sheriff Clint McCrae released to the media Thursday that lab results on evidence in the double murder of Shanta Faye Crawford and grandson Aiyden Benjamin Lewis collected from outside the county could begin arriving in the next few weeks. Texas DPS and FBI crime labs have been processing the evidence.
The cause of death in the crimes has, as of yet, not been released. The bodies of the 55-year-old woman and her 18-month-old grandson were found inside a home on M. Williams Road off Highway 30 on July 24th.
