E-Filing for Civil and Probate Cases Mandated for Texas

In her Summary Progress Report for January 2013, County Clerk Kari French mentioned joining over 400 County and District Clerks for the annual School for County and District Clerks at the Hilton College Station Hotel and Conference Center.

Ms. French passed along that one of the areas the school updated her on was E-filing in Texas courts. E-filing for Texas is a mandated electronic filing for civil and probate cases from the Texas Supreme Court. She said the deadline for Walker County to comply with E-filing is July 1st, 2015 . . . .
