Darius Rucker
Darius, your wagon wheel has been well and truly rocked.

This week, Darius Rucker’s
music sits atop both Billboard‘s country albums and country airplay charts. His album, True Believers, debuted
at No. 1 — on Nielsen SoundScan confirmed sales of 83,409 copies — while his current single, “Wagon
Wheel,”
settles in for its second week at the peak.

Otherwise, it’s been fairly placid with only two other new
albums and three new songs to chronicle.

Also debuting are the George Jones compilation
10 Great Songs (at No. 56) and Jessta James’ Time to Get Right (No. 63).

Returning to action are Country:
George Jones
(No. 44), Jones’ Heartaches and Hangovers (No. 57) and Icon: Trace
Adkins
(No. 74).

The new songs are LoCash Cowboys’ “Chase a Little Love”
(No. 54), Jana Kramer’s “I Hope It Rains” (No. 55) and Dakota Bradley’s “Somethin’ Like
Somethin’” (No. 60).

Krystal Keith’s “Daddy Dance With Me” re-enters at No. 59.
Following True Believers
within the Top 5 albums cluster are George Strait’s Love Is Everything (last
week’s No. 1), Lady Antebellum’s Golden, Blake
Shelton
‘s Based on a True Story and Florida Georgia Line’s Here’s
to the Good Times
.

The No. 2 through No. 5 songs are Tim McGraw’s “Highway
Don’t Care,”
with Taylor Swift, Shelton’s “Boys
‘Round Here,”
featuring Pistol Annies Friends, Jake
Owen
‘s “Anywhere With You” (making a big leap from last week’s No. 9) and Florida Georgia Line’s “Get
Your Shine On.”

Next week we’ll struggle through that bucolic bacchanal known as the CMA Music Festival. See you
there.
