There’s an armful of new albums on the Billboard country charts this week, led by Blake
Shelton
‘s Based on a True Story, which debuts at No. 1.

And there’s a new chart-topper on the country airplay
songs list, as well — Hunter Hayes’ “Somebody’s
Heartbreak.”
It hits the summit after a 25-week climb.

Based on a True Story sold 199,086 copies its first
week out, reports Nielsen SoundScan.

Kacey Musgraves’ Same Trailer
Different Park
, last week’s top album, has dipped to No. 7.

Bowing in at No. 2 is Alan
Jackson
‘s gospel project, Precious Memories, Volume II, on sales of 55,422 units.

The other newcomers are
Thompson Square’s Just Feels Good (No. 4), the various artists collection Official
2013 Academy of Country Music Awards ‘ZinePak
(No. 11), Maggie Rose’s Out to
Impress
(No. 36), the Black Lillies’ Runaway Freeway Blues (No. 43) and
Redneck Social Club’s We’ve Got Friends … We’ve Got Ammo … We’ve Got Plans … (No. 55).

Returning to the
chart are Hayes’ Live EP (No. 71) and Chase Rice’s Dirt Road Communion (No. 73).

Shelton’s “Boys ‘Round
Here,” recorded with Pistol Annies Friends, is the highest-charting new song,
arriving at an impressive No. 19.

Also making their first chart appearances are Taylor
Swift
‘s “I Knew You Were Trouble” (No. 55), Musgraves’
“Blowin’ Smoke” (No. 56), Kix Brooks’ “Complete 360″ (No. 59) and Carrie
Underwood
‘s “See You Again” (No. 60).

The No. 3 and No. 5 albums — just to round out the Top 5 — are Luke
Bryan
‘s Spring Break … Here to Party and Swift’s Red.

Songs No. 2 through No. 5, in that order,
are Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your
Truck,”
Lady Antebellum’s “Downtown,”
Shelton’s “Sure Be Cool If You Did” (No. 1 for the
past two weeks) and Thompson Square’s “If I Didn’t Have
You.”

OK, back to the radio.
