Fair Project Winner Update

Animal project competition continued at the Walker County Fair Tuesday.

In the Market Swine Show Tuesday night, 11-year-old Huntsville Intermediate Student Jayce Miller placed first in the light heavyweight class. Ten-year-old New Waverly Intermediate student Seth Adams received Reserve Grand Champion honors.

Also Tuesday, winners included Jack Riley for light-weight class, Shelby Beaird for medium class, and Dylan Morrison for the heavy-weight class.

Swine show second place finishers were Trey Smith for light-weight class, Ryan Strong for the medium class, and Ashley Billnoske for the heavy-weight class.

In the rabbit competition on Tuesday morning, New Waverly 4-H Club member Tyler Koonce won grand champion, Brady Hooks won reserve grand champion, and Sarah Lane won third.
