Published on October 24, 2013 by Larry Crippen

Good police work resulted in four drug-related arrests Tuesday night. Seven-thousand dollars in cash was seized.

All the arrests were the result of traffic stops.

Sixty-eight-year-old John Maxey was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance after HPD officers found 15 rocks of crack cocaine in his vehicle.

Twenty-five-year-old Broderick Purvis, after being pulled over, was arrested for illegal codeine possession.

Kenneth Clark, Jr., 21, was arrested for money laundering after officers, deploying an HPD canine, found $6,100 in cash in his car trunk that he was unable to account for.

Twenty-one-year-old Jarondick Anderson-Wise was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance–32 pills which treat panic and anxiety disorders.
