The HISD Board of Trustees will meet at six this evening in the Hawkins Administration Building.
The Board will recognize students and staff for their accomplishments.
They will hold a public hearing on SCHOOL FIRST–the Financial Integrity Rating System.
On tonight’s “Consent Agenda,” the Board will consider the approval of budget amendment #1, tax sales trust properties, a resolution entering into an oil and gas lease, and the designation of the HISD Texas Online Preparatory School campuses as magnet campuses.
Tonight the Board will also consider authorizing the district administration to extend participation in the Texas Taxpayer & Student Fairness Coalition school litigation lawsuit, approval of technology upgrades at Huntsville Intermediate, and submission of Walker County Appraisal District Board of Director nominations for the 2014-15 term.
Trustees will also hear an enrollment report on the HISD Texas Online Preparatory Magnet Campuses and a Delinquent Tax Report.
