Home Invasion Victim Released from Hospital

The victim of a local home invasion robbery Wednesday afternoon, a Huntsville man, has been released from the hospital. The unidentified man is expected to fully recover.

Around 1 PM Wednesday, two men forced their way inside the home of the victim in the 3600 block of Montgomery Road and robbed him at gunpoint. He suffered head injuries in the incident. Also, one shot was fired during the robbery.

The home-invasion suspects are described as two black men between the ages of 20 and 30.

HPD and the Walker County Sheriff’s Office are investigating. If you have information on the incident, call the HPD at 291-5480 or the Sheriff’s Office at 435-2400.
