During a traffic stop by HPD officer James Reynolds last week on I-45, 11 grams of heroin and 102 hydrocodone tables were found. Stolen items were also found in the trunk of the car.

Occupants of the vehicle were 25-year-old Juan Carlos Godinez and 26-year-old Miguel Anjel Quiroz . On May 30th, both men were charged with second-degree felonies and taken to the Walker County Jail. Godinez was arrested for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance. Quiroz was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Quiroz will also be charged with possession of marijuana and theft.
