Huntsville Couple Indicted on Injury to Child

Huntsville Couple Alicia Kae Horstman and Shane Michael Craven were indicted by a Walker County grand jury March 27th for injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury or mental injury. They could receive a sentence of 99 years in prison, if found guilty.

The couple is accused of injuring their 2-month old daughter last June. The child received treatment for multiple rib fractures, subdural brain bleeds, and other injuries at Childrens Memorial Hospital in Houston.

The child has been put in the care of relatives who are in the process of adopting the child.
