New Walker County Jail construction project director Eddie Smith filed another update at Monday morning’s Commissioners’ Court on the progress on the jail.
Monday morning, he said the contractor on site was the dirt contractor. He said as soon as the weather lets them, they’ll start drilling piers for the slab.
Smith continued with what’s next in regard to jail construction . . . .
Commissioner Gaines said what he’s seen so far out at the jail construction site is “impressive.”
