Judge Pierce Comments on Courthouse and Prosecutor Security

Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia were found dead last weekend in their home in Forney. This occurred only a few months after one of Kaufman County’s Assistant District Attorneys was was killed in a parking lot near his office.

A white supremacist gang, the Aryan Brotherhood, is under suspicion, and law enforcement is investigating.

Security has been beefed-up for prosecutors and courthouses in various counties in the state.

We asked Walker County Judge Danny Pierce how County officials were handling the issue here . . . .

Governor Rick Perry has announced a $100,000 dollar reward to aid in finding the killers of the Kaufman County District Attorney, his wife, and the former Assistant D-A there.
