Leads Still Being Checked-Out in Double Murder Case

Walker County Sheriff Clint McRae released to the media Monday that they are “following up on tips and leads” in regard to last Wednesday’s double-murder which took the lives of 55-year-old Shanta Faye Crawford and 18-month-old Aiyden Benjamin Lewis on Williams Road in Huntsville.

What happened to the victims is still being withheld, while law enforcement authorities continue their investigation.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 435-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 294-9494 where callers may remain anonymous.
