Local Agencies to be Chosen to Receive Emergency Food and Shelter Program Funds

Our county has been selected by a national board chaired by FEMA to get $21,170 dollars in support of emergency food and shelter programs.

A local board has been chosen to recommend local agencies to distribute these funds to. Public or private voluntary agencies interested in applying for Emergency Food and Shelter program funds should contact Reverend Dave Smith, Director of the Good Shepherd Mission, at P.O. Box 7281 in Huntsvlle or by emial at gsmission@suddenlink.net.  The application deadline is February 24th.
