Wednesday, a local teen was arrested for burglary of a habitation after he was found hiding under a bed in a home that had been broken into.
A local citizen called in Wednesday morning around 9:30 to report a possible burglary in progress in the Watkins-Clark Homes in the 200 block of Avenue F.
Arriving officers noticed broken glass at the rear of the residence and knocked on the door. After seeing that no one appeared to be home, officers searched the residence and found the male juvenile hiding under a bed.
After determining that the juvenile did not live in the residence he was arrested and, at last report, was being detained at a juvenile detention center.
