Published on May 28, 2013 by Larry Crippen

Several hundred showed up at the HEARTS Veterans Museum in Huntsville on Memorial Day to honor fallen soldiers.

The event was hosted by Lieutenant Colonel Champe Miller. Congressman Kevin Brady and Commissioner for the General Land Office, Jerry Patterson, also spoke.

Patriotic songs were presented by the Greater Zion Baptist Church choir and the Huntsville Men’s Choir. Local Boy Scout Troop 114 was there helping out at the event. The museum was also open for anyone wanting to see the collection.
