“Open Studios” Underway at the Wynne Home Art Center

Published on April 11, 2013 by Larry Crippen

“Open Studios” are getting underway at the Wynne Home Arts Center.

Crafts artist and instructor Tamara Chasteen fills us in . . . .

Today from 3 to 7, Ms. Chasteen will be teaching Indian Bead Weaving. She said, “The Thursday ‘Open Studios’ are intended to train volunteers who would like to come to the Sam Houston Folk Festival.” Volunteers who work with her in the children’s tent doing these activities get free admission to the festival and a tee shirt, as long as they last. There’s no fee for Thursday “Open Studios” for those intending to volunteer–otherwise the fee is $10 dollars.
